Print run, 2026
This print documents the complete songwriting history of New Order released through Factory Records, spanning from Ceremony (1981) to World in Motion (1990), the band’s final release on the label.
Following the same systematic approach as the Joy Division print, this work presents a comprehensive overview of every track recorded by New Order during the Factory Records period. It includes studio albums such as Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, and Low-Life; the Substance compilation; all twenty Factory-era singles; and associated video and live releases, including Taras Shevchenko and Pumped Full of Drugs.
Each entry is accompanied by key archival information, including release dates, Factory catalogue numbers, artwork attribution, and production credits. A restrained colour system references the original sleeve designs, reinforcing the relationship between the music and its visual identity.
This is a research-led visual document intended for close reading as much as display.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
