Musicians rarely talk about their own influences with the same clarity they bring to their own records, but when they do, the answers are often more revealing than any interview about their own work. This print maps exactly that: the favourite albums of artists like Brian Eno, Brett Anderson, Gary Numan, Morrissey, Johnny Marr, Ian McCulloch, Suggs and Stephen Morris, tracing the records that shaped their sound back to the source, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Iggy and the Stooges, Kraftwerk, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Miles Davis, Nico, Link Wray, and others.
Each entry includes a QR code linking directly to the album, turning the print into something you can actually use rather than a static reference, a way to work backward from the artists you already know into the records that made them who they are.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?
I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.
I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
