Music Lineages: Poster Series

From Can and Kraftwerk to the Ramones and The Clash, to Joy Division and The Smiths — three shifts that reshaped how music developed across scenes and decades.

Each poster presents a lineage built from bands, cities, and years, using a consistent visual system to make complex histories easy to read.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
