Three prints covering two cities whose scenes crossed paths for one strange afternoon in Leigh, Lancashire, when Factory Records and Liverpool's Zoo Records shared a festival bill in August 1979.

  • Manchester Music History Map - (350+ Artists, Scenes, 7 Decades)
  • Liverpool & Merseyside Music History Map (400+ Artists, Scenes, 7 Decades)
  • Factory Records - Key Releases (1979-1991)

The two maps document each city's musical output across seven decades. The Factory print narrows the focus to one label's chronological catalogue, the connective tissue running between Manchester and Liverpool through the post-punk years. Buy two, get the third print free.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
