The Academy Awards have shaped which films get remembered as much as which films were actually good, and this print takes that seriously: more than 500 winners compiled across every major category from the first ceremony in 1929 through 2020. Best Picture alone traces a genuine evolution in what "prestige filmmaking" has meant across nine decades, from Casablanca's wartime romance and Gone with the Wind's epic scale, through The Godfather and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in the New Hollywood era, to Moonlight's 2016 win, a film that couldn't have been made, let alone recognised, by the Academy of any earlier decade.
Best Director covers the full range of styles the Academy has rewarded over time: William Wyler's meticulous studio-system craftsmanship on Ben-Hur, Oliver Stone's visceral, personal filmmaking on Platoon, and Alfonso Cuarón's technically audacious long takes on Roma, three genuinely different definitions of directorial achievement from three different eras. Best Actor and Best Actress are equally thorough, spanning James Cagney's Yankee Doodle Dandy-era showmanship and Katharine Hepburn's four total wins (still the record) through to Daniel Day-Lewis's three, and Cate Blanchett's dual recognition for both leading and supporting work. Best Supporting Actor and Actress are included in full as well, the categories most often overlooked but frequently home to the ceremony's most surprising and career-defining wins.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?
I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.
I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
