En este día en la historia de la música, hace 30 años, la extensa obra maestra de los 90 de The Smashing Pumpkins, 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness', fue lanzada con la icónica portada de John Craig, que combinaba sus collages con bocetos y notas enviados por fax por Billy Corgan, y mezclaba imágenes victorianas y renacentistas para capturar la mezcla de belleza y caos del álbum.
