Four labels. One golden era. This hand-signed print maps the story of Mute, Factory, 4AD, and Creation Records, the labels that shaped post-punk, goth, shoegaze, and Britpop from 1978 to 2000.

160 albums, singles, and compilations are laid out in chronological order, tracing the arc of Depeche Mode, Joy Division/New Order, Cocteau Twins, Pixies, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, Erasure, Oasis, Happy Mondays, and dozens more — the artists who turned four small, fiercely independent labels into some of the most influential names in music history.

researched, designed and hand-signed by Alejandro De Luna, printed on premium-grade paper, this is built to be read up close and lived with, a centerpiece for anyone who wants their walls to say something specific about what they love.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
