This print traces over 40 landmark concerts from 1952 to 1981, nights when the direction of music genuinely shifted rather than just continued. It spans Elvis Presley's explosive Memphis debut, James Brown's fiery Apollo set, The Beatles' famous rooftop farewell, Jimi Hendrix setting his guitar alight at Monterey, Bob Dylan going electric at Newport, David Bowie retiring Ziggy Stardust mid-tour in London, Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, the Ramones storming the Roundhouse, and the Sex Pistols' Manchester gig that's widely credited with inspiring an entire generation of future musicians in the audience.

Also featured: Buddy Holly in London, The Who at Leeds, Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden, Patti Smith at the Roundhouse, Joy Division in Birmingham, and Public Image Ltd at The Ritz, each entry chosen for a specific reason, a shift in sound, culture, or both, rather than simply being a famous show.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
