Few bands have moved as convincingly between genuinely bleak and unabashedly pop as The Cure did across their Fiction Records years, and this print charts that whole swing: from Crawley's post-punk beginnings in 1978 to 2001, spanning every studio album released on Fiction in chronological order alongside 32 UK singles and B-sides. It's a catalogue that runs from Pornography's claustrophobic despair to The Head on the Door and Disintegration's more atmospheric, widescreen version of the same melancholy, plus the fan-favourite "Burn" from The Crow soundtrack and the Lost Wishes EP.

The print also documents the compilations that shaped how casual listeners actually encountered the band, Standing on a Beach, Japanese Whispers, Galore and Join the Dots, alongside catalogue numbers and release dates, glossary and colour coding for tracking the band's shifting lineup and sound across two decades.

Who’s Behind The Sense of Doubt ?

I’m Alejandro De Luna, the creator behind The Sense of Doubt; a solo studio in Madrid making wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and heritage. What began as a way to make sense of the records, places, and stories that shaped my life has grown into a visual archive that connects moods, history, and art.

I research, design, and hand-sign every piece myself in small batches, and today more than 10,000 art lovers in over 20 countries have my prints on their walls. People describe the work as “brilliantly researched,” “put together with great care,” and “a true labour of love.” That’s exactly what it is; no shortcuts, just me doing the work because I love it.
