30 years of'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness'

On this day in music history 30 years ago, The Smashing Pumpkins’ sprawling 90s masterpiece 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness' was released with that iconic John Craig artwork, blending his collages with Billy Corgan’s faxed sketches and notes and mixing Victorian and Renaissance imagery to capture the album’s mix of beauty and chaos.

And drag me in with maybes, yeah"
